We are looking for a Personal Care Assistant to join our team and provide quality care to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Additionally, the Personal Care Assistant will help with light housekeeping tasks, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments. We are looking for an individual who is patient, compassionate, and has a genuine interest in helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Provide transportation to medical appointments or errands.
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a safe environment for clients.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 16 per week
Salary: £11.00-£12.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Yearly bonus
