Personal Assistant Job Description:
Understanding Employer's Requirements: Understand the needs of your employer or the individual you are assisting. This includes their schedules, preferences, work requirements, and other personal needs.
Diary Management: Organise, schedule and maintain the individual's diary. This includes scheduling appointments, meetings, and ensuring there are no scheduling conflicts.
Communication Management: Handle incoming and outgoing communication. This includes screening calls, managing emails, and liaising with clients or other staff members.
Document Management: Draft, edit and proofread documents. This may include letters, reports, presentations, and other correspondence.
Travel and Accommodation Arrangements: Organise travel and accommodation. This could include booking flights, arranging transportation, booking hotels, and creating itineraries.
Meeting Preparation: Prepare for meetings by creating agendas, organising meeting rooms, and ensuring all necessary materials are ready. You might also be required to take meeting minutes and distribute them afterward.
Expense Management: Keep track of receipts and manage expense reports. This could involve submitting expenses for approval, maintaining an expense log, and ensuring all expenses are accounted for as well as sending invoices to clients once a project is completed
Payroll: Verifying invoices from staff and uploading into system.
Personal Tasks: Depending on your employer's requirements, you might also assist with personal tasks. This could include booking personal appointments, organising events, or managing household staff.
Ad-hoc Tasks: There may be other tasks assigned to you on an ad-hoc basis. This could be anything from running errands to managing a project.
Confidentiality: Maintaining discretion and confidentiality in all professional matters, as you will often be privy to sensitive information.

12. Holiday entitlement and holiday pay: The Holiday Year commences on the 1st day of January runs for one year. The Employee will be entitled to four weeks of paid annual leave, such entitlement accruing on a pro rata basis, with Bank and Public Holidays to be included in the calculation of the Employee's four weeks of paid annual leave.
13. Pay Details and Intervals: The Employee will be paid an hourly wage of £15.00 (pounds). 14. Pay Period: The Employee will be paid: once per month
