What type of breed are we looking for?

We are on the hunt for someone who has a strong commercial mindset, who is highly creative and analytical, and keen to take on an autonomous role with responsibility for building our growth momentum across the UK & Ireland.

As the UK Performance Marketeer, reporting directly to the Global Head of Ecommerce, you will be responsible of the paid media strategy for Amazon UK to achieve net growth goals and customer acquisition & retention goals. As well as the total digital funnel strategy; working together with brand, digital and commercial teams to drive omnichannel conversion.

What will be in your bowl?

  • Lead our Amazon paid media strategy and grow our customer base by developing timely and creative campaigns targeted at the right audience to achieve our high growth and efficiency targets, with full funnel focus
  • Work with agency partners to build Amazon advertising and content strategy, owning the projects end-to-end
  • Collaborate daily with digital and commercial channel specialists to drive omni-channel performance across full customer journey
  • Responsible for key performance marketing metrics versus our forecast with a focus on revenue/ROAS/CAC/CPC/LTV
  • Think outside the box and bring innovative ideas to drive share of search, brand visibility and conversion across our priority channels. Experiment, measure, analyze, and learn fast is at the core of our culture
  • Competition monitoring and benchmarking
  • Work in close tactics with the Etail Sales Manager, UK Head of Sales and brand team to ensure a strong, data-driven strategy & results for the channel
  • Hunts for resource/data-driven approach to fueling the strategy in the UK
  • Articulate the story of our wins and learnings, track results and ROI on all activities and build the reports to share to management and teams to replicate across other countries.



What skills & tricks should you bring?

  • 4+ years of solid experience of performance marketing in the FMCG world ideally across channels
  • Experience in running successful performance marketing campaigns in at least one more digital channel outside of search (Display, Paid Social, Native). Strong experience in the performance marketing channels (Facebook, Google, Amazon, etc).
  • Data-driven. Comfortable working with data and using a range of analytical tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI) and building strong story reports
  • Highly creative, with the ability to deliver disruptive, industry leading performance marketing strategies – often on a limited budget
  • Strategic thinker with an ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and influence across departments (both internally and externally)
  • Detail-oriented, pro-active problem solving abilities; Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced-environment
  • The desire to make the next step and join an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment where you can build a strong brand in the UK
  • Strong organizational skills; Pro-active problem solving abilities
  • Highly commercial mindset – strong financial understanding and ROI accountability echoes in all you do
  • Fluency in English (any other language is a plus)
  • An ethical approach in all you do - you align with our values
