About the role

Many people are not receiving the support they need to live more independently in the community, either living in housing which cannot fully meet their needs or in residential care. In response, our AwCS Strategy seeks to achieve a fundamental shift in the housing options available to people with care and support needs. As part of the Contract and Commissioning Support Service, you will be developing reports, dashboards, and analysis to ensure the directorate is meeting targets; understanding current and future demand; and achieving the best value-for money outcomes for its residents.

At Surrey County Council, our vision is to help create better lives, a better place and a county where no-one is left behind. To deliver our vision we are committed to changing and radically improving the Council’s culture, approach and performance; putting residents’ current and future needs first. So, when we want to understand where we need focus our resources and how our work impacts residents, the Contract and Commissioning Support service steps in to provide insightful analytics. Our busy and friendly team is looking for a highly motivated and conscientious individual to join us. This is an opportunity to develop your data analysis skills, report building/writing skills, and presentation skills in order to produce creative reports which support commissioning in Adult Social Care.

At Surrey, our values and behaviours are just as important as our skills and abilities. They shape who we are as an organisation. Find out more about the values we follow.

For more information, please find attached to the bottom of this advert a full job profile. We look forward to receiving your application with CV and a separate personal statement. We also invite you to read our Life at Surrey handbook to see insights of the culture at Surrey and how as a valued employee, you can help shape our Council.
