People Manager - Retail Flagship Store

We are now looking for People Manager with a background in Sales and Operations, to join our Microsoft Experience Centre (MEC) in Oxford Circus, London. You will be joining our highly skilled team who are delivering world-class customer service each day. Your role as a People Manager is to inspire your team about the vision and purpose of the business.

The MEC is a place where customers can experience the best of Microsoft including Xbox, Surface, Office 365 and Windows. It is where we strive to provide the best customer experience & solutions for our customers, their families, business or school.

  • Aligns priorities and communication to ensure a seamless employee and customer experience; and resolves escalated customer issues
  • Leads associates and monitors customer interactions in order to provide real time feedback in the moment
  • Team recognition, promotions and reward cycles as well as delivering success through robust recruitment processes and performance management
  • Accountable for the daily running of the MEC from opening duties, delivering morning briefs, managing team schedules and closing
  • Ensures policies and procedures are adhered to and completes relevant investigations
  • Builds and maintains a deep and broad knowledge of Microsoft products and services
  • Creates clarity by communicating company goals, directions, and departmental plans, and implements business sales strategies
  • Motivates the team and direct reports through coaching, 121’s and giving real time feedback and ensures all training is complete on time

Qualifications

We are open to applications from anyone with the relevant experience in sales, customer service, or related roles with a specific focus on people management

  • Be a cultural ambassador and can inspire a team through living and breathing the mission and values of a business
  • Have the ability to pivot focus when the business goes through change especially if that is with a new product offering
