Job description
Reporting to the Senior Planning & Project Support Manager, the People Project Support role will be instrumental in delivering key group wide People projects.
This role will need to work collaboratively across the Group People Team and with stakeholders across the wider Group.
What you'll be doing- Support group wide People projects, creating & maintaining project plans and leading activity to ensure projects are successfully delivered on time
- Support the Payroll & HR project to deliver an enhanced colleague experience, with efficient, consistent and enhanced ways of working
- Maintain strong relationships across the Group People team to ensure projects are in line with agreed policies and processes
- Support with the comms and engagement of key Group People projects
- To establish strong working relationships with new and evolving project teams, to become the first point of contact for the project(s) you are supporting
- Ensure projects are working within agreed principles and/or business cases, in line with agreed scope and costs measures
- Look for improvements to our standard ways of working as a Project Support Team and identify improvements to our standard template documents
- Practical understanding and experience in key People processes and practices including
- Able to quickly establish and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and manage key stakeholder relationships across the organisation
- Understanding of project management discipline and best practice is desirable but not essential
- Able to present and articulate information in a simple way
- Planful and organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage numerous projects with competing priorities
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and highly confidential information
- Able to use own initiative and prioritise activity accordingly
