Launched in 2016, with over 1.6 million guest nights sold, generating over €60 million in rental income and managing a portfolio worth over €1 billion, GuestReady is a company on the rise.

At GuestReady, our purpose is to revolutionise the short-term rental industry through innovative technology and a commitment to hospitality. We empower landlords to turn their investments into profitable sources of income by streamlining the rental process from start to finish. From creating listings across multiple platforms to managing guest communications, housekeeping, key exchange, and price optimisation, our team of experts handle every aspect of the rental experience, freeing landlords from the hassle and stress of property management. Our mission is to bring the tradition of hospitality to the short-term rental market and provide peace of mind for our valued clients.

We are seeking a student intern to join our team as a People & Culture Intern for the UK Market. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to provide support and assistance to our Country Manager in HR administrative and office duties. You will be responsible for facilitating daily HR functions such as hiring, employee onboarding, training and development, and organising team events.

The ideal candidate should have excellent organisational skills, a strong eye for detail, and great communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests and provide assistance.
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data in the database and ensure all employment requirements are met.
  • Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts, etc.
  • Assist supervisors in performance management procedures.
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, monthly culture events, etc.
  • Perform orientations, onboarding, and update records with new hires.
  • Assist in the development and training materials with department management.
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Candidate must be currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Ability to prioritise competing priorities, manage time efficiently, and stay organised is a must.
  • Team player who can work effectively in an environment with high inter-dependencies between teams and cross-cultural colleagues.
  • Comfortable collaborating with senior and C-level staff.
  • Detail-oriented individual with a strong focus on quality.
  • Ability to work under pressure, staying calm and composed.
  • Flexibility in meeting the needs of the business.
  • Interest in start-ups and the sharing economy is a big plus. Ideally, the candidate will have experience using home share platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.

Benefits

  • Competitive remuneration package.
  • Be part of a high-growth industry experiencing the biggest travel rebound in a century.
  • Join a diverse and multicultural team spanning several countries.
  • A collaborative work culture with no room for office politics and big egos.
  • Work with a team of entrepreneurs who have successfully built companies before.
  • Join a dynamic work environment with flat hierarchies and space for your own ideas.
  • Drive challenging and diverse tasks which will let you grow day by day.
  • Hybrid office and work from home setup.

We encourage you to apply even if you are missing a skill or two! Don't undervalue yourself and miss out on an incredible opportunity even though you are a 70% fit- a lot of things can be learned through experience, and skills can be transferable. Let's work together to fill the gaps!
