An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Advisor to join the Rolls-Royce GBS Team.
You will provide effective HR support to business managers ensuring business needs are met in line with Company HR policies and processes. Work with line managers and employees to resolve issues. You will support local deployment of Company HR processes such as Absence Management, Performance Management, Capability AWOL, Discipline and Grievance.

Your needs are as unique as you are. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.
What you will be doing:
You will support Business Leads in the delivery of HR Processes and Policies:
- Responsible for providing support to Line Managers to enable HR processes to be executed efficiently and effectively supporting the HR operating model.
- Supporting all Business across the UK in managing sickness absence.
- Responsible for conducting investigations under the Disciplinary Procedure and supporting Line Managers with Grievances raised by Employees.
- Responsible for supporting managers with conflict issues and driving a speedy resolution.
- Supporting and guiding Line Managers in all aspects of Performance Management and Probationary Periods.
- Responsible for producing Trends and Analysing data for all Business area on various Employee Relation aspects.
- Responsible for identifying lessons learnt on all processes and identifying and implementing improvements.
- Responsible for driving continuous improvement in all relevant policies, procedures and practice.

- Degree qualified in a Business or HR Discipline or equivalent experience.
- Articulate, numerate with the ability to manipulate and present data as required.
- Comfortable around key tools including: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Good working knowledge of HR processes and the relevant IT systems to support those processes, Workday would be an advantage.
- Well-developed customer and relationship management skill set.
- Ability to influence others effectively in a business environment.
- Problem solving approach to process improvement.
