RPS Water is seeking a PCC (Per Capita Consumption) engineer, to survey (District Metered Area) DMA’s to high standards. A leakage background is essential for delivery, as is an understanding of flow and pressure management, along with experience in distribution, commercial and domestic meter understanding, logging, and reporting. A company van, mobile phone and fuel card are provided for this role and there is overtime available.

What you’ll be doing
- Taking responsibility for Risk Assessment and Health & Safety Management
- Perform a step-testing to a high standard
- Zero pressure testing
- Understanding of household usage, recording of pressure and flow data and of void properties
- Meter identification and component checks and logging & data collection
- Household and commercial property checks
- Mains flushing
- Ensuring KPI’s are achieved, maintained, and delivered and that all work is completed in a timely and accurate manner and reported accurately and efficiently
Who we’re looking for?
- Good knowledge of leakage detection & distribution, and pressure and flow management coupled with GIS and DMA understanding gained from working within Utilities and Water Distribution
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualification
- Ability to determine if an area is discrete including boundary valve integrity checks
- Strong commitment to Health and Safety
- Great customer service ethos and track record and able to meet strict client and company targets
- Good IT skills and working knowledge of MS office and work management applications
- Ability to work to deadlines and achieve targets
- Clear and fluent communication skills, both written and oral
- Full UK driving licence
**Please note drug and alcohol testing is performed for this role and you will be required to undertake a DBS check**
