We specialise in the design and manufacture of ground-breaking renewable-energy technology products.
In this position you will be monitoring and sustaining existing equipment and processes as well as supporting the installation of new equipment for the Conventional/Through Hole Technology (CNV/THT) production lines.
This can include designing, fabricating, modifying, evaluating, and documenting machining assemblies, components, and systems to produce or improve company products and facilitate manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate’s main responsibilities will include:
- A safe process that complies with company H&S guidelines.
- Implementation and Installation of the functional blocks of a production line.
- Fully profile a PCBA. Understanding how factors such as speed, temperature, height, solder, copper density, PCBA size, number of components, etc impact the solderability.
- Creation of Wave Soldering and Selective Soldering Programs and continuous process improvements in all aspects of CNV/THT Manufacturing.
- Able to design pallets for both Wave and Selective Soldering equipment.
- Support of preform and PCB breakout equipment.
- Being able to interpret Production Data to understand and remove factors that cause downtime.
- Provide efficient support to production lines as needed.
- Support NPI Projects.
- Ensuring that quality is assured and addressed within the Manufacturing Engineering Team.
- Support Quality team by highlighting problem parts with defect rates and suggested improvements.
- Maintain all PCB equipment to a high standard using the preventative maintenance scheduling system.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- IPC-A-610 Certification or knowledge.
- Minimum of 3 years working in a production line.
- Minimum of 3 years in a PCBA Manufacturing Environment (Ideally in CNV/THT).
