Join a rapidly growing Powered Applications team within the Solutions and Digital practice, supporting business development and project delivery activities across clients from multiple industries. Defining an overall solution architecture to delivering leading practice solutions to support the business requirements. Architecting solutions that contain a mix of cloud based solutions and on premise legacy applications. System design and delivery, including Release Management, integration management, data migration strategy and management. Contributing to the development of a new business Target Operating Model (ToM). Defining IT organisations to manage working in a cloud environment.

Role Description

We are seeking a talented individual with experience of complex Payroll implementations.

The role holder will be responsible for the end-to-end process (from owning the RFP response in relation to Payroll scope and subsequently leading the payroll delivery of the winning bids, while managing the relevant onshore / offshore payroll teams against the contracted deliverable.

The role holder will maximise the use of offshore resource where appropriate

The role holder will also assist us in developing further the existing Powered assets (eg. Powered Accelerate) and contribute to the development of the Powered HR practise.

In addition to the above essential attributes, the successful candidate will also be expected to:

Lead the delivery of high-quality Payroll Cloud deployment projects Provide specialist payroll Cloud advice and work closely with the client leads to optimise processes and maximise the benefits of payroll functionality Advise clients on the transformational aspects of payroll Cloud in relation to HR operating model, self-service and service delivery, mobility and process execution Contribute to the business development and sales initiatives including bid, proposal and contract / commercial negotiations with our clients Advise on technical integration's of payroll applications with other client and 3rd party applications such as payroll, benefits and finance systems Advise on data migration and data integrity as part of the deployment engagement Support the client through the solution design process and enable them to optimise their processes and maximise the benefits of payroll functionality

Required Skill and Qualifications

Proven relationship-building and influencing skills Experience in working with all phases of an implementation life cycle and knowledge of implementation methodology Facilitation and problem solving skillsAbility to produce deliverables as prescribed by the KPMG implementation methodology in the discovery, analysis/design, build, testing and deployment stages (Training will be given on the KPMG method)Business analysis and requirements gathering abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSelf-starter attitude and ability to work well within ambiguity Track record of working with or within the HR function Detailed working knowledge of how Payroll services are delivered at the process levelAbility to effectively transfer knowledge in a non-classroom settingAbility to learn technology quickly through instructionProven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with varying team members Deep functional knowledge of Payroll management business applications.Experience as a payroll solution expert and/or project manager of enterprise software deploymentsStrong experience in managing Payroll teams, as part of an HR / Finance operation for a large organisation Experience with HR / Payroll process mapping and redesign
