Position: Payroll System Specialist
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE
Shift pattern: Monday-Friday. Day-time hours only
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;
- Responsible for being a key contributor to the design, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of system and process solutions.
- Conduct investigation to find the root cause of new and re-occuring issues, and extract data to support.
- Align all proposed system changes with affected stakeholders (e.g. end users, business decision makers).
- Provide feedback on system and process related content topics and questions of medium to high complexity regarding the Payroll systems and develop solutions fitting the customer's needs.
- Articulate need for system standardisation and connectivity and convince stakeholders of any required change.
- Comply with UK legislation to meet business requirements and align to the overarching HR IT digitalisation strategy.
- To work across functions and systems including, but not limited to, Payroll (ResourceLink), Time and Attendance (Kronos), HR Management Systems (Oracle E-business Suite/Oracle HCM Cloud), Employee Benefit Administration (Pensions/C2W etc.) and Finance (Oracle e-business suite).
- Identify potential improvements continuously based on process execution performance, operational observations, data usage and business requirements.

- Previous in-depth experience within a HR, payroll or business role is essential.
- Previous experience within process improvement/management, system management and/or project management is essential.
- Expert understanding of transactional HR processes related to payroll systems and processes.
- Understanding of payroll data, manipulating data and extracting data, including how the data is used.
- Basic technical knowledge of global and regional systems, ideally Oracle HCM Cloud or Workday, SuccessFactors as comparable systsms, Kronos, Workforce Central and ResourceLink.
- Have an understanding of the integrations and interfaces of Payroll.
- Able to identify errors and escalate issues where required.
- CIPD or CIPP qualification would be beneficial.
