We are currently recruiting for the position of Payroll & Administration Officer. This is a full-time position and is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team in a growing Company.
Payroll Responsibilities
· Driver timesheet compilation for fortnightly payroll.
· Lead and provide support in the processing of a fortnightly and a monthly payroll.
· Deal with pay related queries from employees and managers.
· Process expense payments for employees.
· Process new starters and leavers.
· Ensure the set-up and management of employee deductions, benefits and taxable payments.
· Manage electronic timekeeping system – TMS.
· Input payroll related journal entries on the general ledger.
· Other routine payroll administration tasks.
Administration Responsibilities
· Insurance policy administration.
· Assistance in incident investigation and reporting.
· HR records – create and oversee the upkeep of HR files for 100+ drivers, garage and office personnel.
· Induction and starter packs and associated upload to systems.
· Leaver administration.
· Production of driver infringement reports on a monthly basis.
· Support in driver hiring process.
· Maintaining records of dashcams and any other equipment issued.
· Staff uniform ordering.
· Partake in the purchasing of office supplies.
· Management of a petty cash float.
· Registration of work dockets onto the TPS system.
· Liaise with the driver license checking service to ensure compliance.
· Control driver bulletin to keep drivers updated on changes to company policies and procedures and any changes to legislation.
Requirements
· Payroll qualification with a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience.
· A solid understanding of payroll legislation and regulations.
· Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
· Ability to prioritise tasks and meet payroll deadlines.
· Proficiency in administration skills and MS Office.
Full-time permanent role with office hours Monday to Friday.
