We’re now looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our HR Shared Service Team.
As Payroll Administrator, you’ll work flexibly as part of a team of three but provide support on specific business areas. You’ll be responsible for all actions in SAP such as hiring, leaving, transfers, maternity leave etc and process all monthly changes to pay related data. You’ll close and check payroll, utilising payroll reports and carry out BACS process to create and verify payroll BACS extract.
You’ll also be responsible for full reconciliation of all pay elements, for RTI reporting and for liaising with HMRC as appropriate. You’ll take control of P11D reporting and communicate information to other functions by use of interfaces and reports for finance and pensions.
We’re looking for someone who has sound payroll knowledge and proven experience – it’s essential that you currently run a payroll. We’d like you to have a flexible ‘can-do’ attitude and be willing to work to standard processes, suggesting improvements to those processes to improve efficiency. In addition, we’d like you to have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels, both in and outside the organisation, be a team player who takes responsibility for achieving objectives and targets, and thrive in a team environment. SAP experience if preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary £25,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending upon experience.
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 until 17:00. Flexibility exists on the working pattern with hybrid working. The post holder will also be expected to participate in a team rota covering business hours.
