Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Supervisor to join our Finance Team. This role will require the successful candidate to assist the Finance Department with anything related to payroll, as well as processing HMRC documents. You will be required to support both the Payroll Manager and Finance department with various payroll duties.

Role Requirements

  • Data Cleansing in preparation for new regulatory requirements
  • Calculating holiday pay and inputting this information on to our payroll system
  • Keying time sheet information for our Bank staff on to our payroll system and uploading payroll data
  • Learning aspects of payroll to support both the Manager and department
  • Supporting the Finance department and the payroll manager with ad hoc tasks when and if required
  • Requirement to work 1 additional day per month to cover payroll processing weeks paid at basic rate overtime
  • Requirement to cover the payroll manager when on leave, paid at basic rate overtime
  • Requirement to work additional days at basic overtime rate to cover payroll projects

With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with acquired brain injury, providing expert rehabilitation, education, therapy, and care at our national specialist centre in Tadworth, and to children and their families across the UK, via our Brain Injury Community Service.
