Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our hard-working team. The ability to manage multiple tasks whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy is key to this role, as is team working which is paramount. To this end, the University has recently launched a project to replace the Human Resources and Payroll software. This is an exciting time for the University and this will be a transformational piece of work, which this role will be part of.
Responsibilities
Input payroll data accurately and efficiently, prioritising the workload to meet the deadlines of the various payrolls
Process incoming and outgoing correspondence, and cases via the Pay and Pensions support portal ensuring they are dealt with correctly and efficiently, exercising discretion and complying with General Data Protection Regulation
Check authenticity of payroll data, ensuring appropriate authorisation is present and all relevant information has been provided
Check and verify the details of expense claims on the Travel Management system, to ensure compliance with policy and University procedures
Produce bespoke correspondence detailing individual circumstances or explanations of rules and procedures in a clear and effective manner. Ensure the content of all correspondence complies with General Data Protection Regulation and that any personal information provided is correct and adequate for purpose
