Job description
We have and opportunity for a full time AfC band 2 Payroll Assistant within (NWSSP) based in Companies House Cardiff. The successful post holder will work as part of a payroll team providing a payroll service to NHS Wales organisations. This is an Agile Working post so a reliable home broadband connection is required as well as suitable home-working arrangements. Office attendance will be required at times on a rota basis.
Your role will initially be based at Companies House, until we relocate to our new base in early 2024 to CP2, Welsh Government Offices, King Edward VII Avenue Cardiff CF10 3NQ
The post holder will provide support to all functions within the Payroll Department across a variety of appropriate tasks. including managing electronic In Box; incoming mail; scan documents; respond to basic telephone enquires; undertake some data entry onto Electronic Staff Record. Post holder will be required to manage Payslips/P45s for external mail and download and manage overpayment letters for external mail. The Payroll Assistant will act as part of a team providing support to some or all areas.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
