Jenson Fisher, have been engaged, on an exclusive basis by a highly reputable organisation based in Glasgow City Centre to recruit an experienced Payroll Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic fast-paced company with progression opportunities.  This role is to work in Payroll Department, joining a team of 3.  

The main duties:

• Processing a payroll as part of a team on a weekly basis
• Check all payroll paperwork relating to new starts/RTW
• Process the information from our automated time recording systems
• Process relevant SMP/SSP where required
• Implement Earnings Arrestments where necessary
• Maintain holiday & absence records
• Calculate internal staff transfer costs between locations
• Process RTI & create P45 where required.
• Calculate month end figures for wider team for monthly accounts
• Deal with payoll queries

The main requirements:

• Previous payroll experience is essential
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• High levels of attention to detail
• Able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong team player
• Excellent communication skills
