Customer Support Advisor

Position Summary
We now have an exciting permanent vacancy for a Customer Support Advisor within our Architectural Coatings division, based in our Carrickfergus Office. We’re looking for a customer focused individual to join our friendly and supportive team. You’ll need excellent communication and organisational skills, along with a proven track record of delivering brilliant customer service utilising your communication and interpersonal skills. You’ll have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook. Experience of working in an administrative or retail environment would be desirable but not essential.

A day in the life of…
As a Customer Support Advisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Entering customer pricing and credits in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
- Sending customers order acknowledgements and invoices when requested
- Investigating and responding to all customer queries, enquiries or complaints
- Providing key support to sales representatives and all other areas of the business
- Taking an active role in telesales events
- Building exceptional relationships with customers
- Gaining a thorough knowledge of all PPG and 3rd party products, and the competitive environment in which PPG operates
- Ensuring you are up to date with promotional activity at all times
The hours of work for the position are 35.25 hours per week, Monday to Thursday (8.30am to 4.30pm), and Friday (8.30am to 3.30pm). This is a full time permanent role.
