Role: Payroll Administrator
Location: London, we offer a mixture of both hybrid & office working. The role will require occasional travel to our london office
Employment Type: Permanent, Part Time. We are looking for someone to join us on a part time basis. 20 hours per week across Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
Here at Gousto we have a brilliant opportunity in the form of a Payroll Administrator. Reporting into the Payroll Manager you will be part of a small but mighty team of three. You will be responsible for processing weekly and monthly payroll for colleagues across Gousto.
As the Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for initial payroll queries acting as a central point of contact. If you are looking for a part time role, are an experienced Payroll Administrator and want to be a part of the UK most loved ways to eat dinner.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processing the weekly & monthly payroll from start to completion for 1500+ employees
- Acting as a point of contact for employee queries
- Assisting with managing Gousto’s auto enrolment pension scheme, including processing employee changes and ensuring all contributions are transferred to the pension provider
- Processing employee expenses via Concur
- Reconciliation of the payroll to Dynamics and creation of third party payments
- Working with the People team to streamline current weekly payroll process
- Working with the Payroll Manager to implement ‘best in class’ practices and controls.
- Assistance with month and year-end payroll obligations
WHO YOU ARE:
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation - in particular SSP, SMP, holiday pay, bonuses, redundancy pay, shift allowances.
- Ability to manually calculate payroll payments
- Strong Excel and system skills - vlookup, ‘if’ statements, data interrogation
- Excellent numerate and computer skills
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail while working to tight deadlines
- Honesty and discretion – you will be dealing with sensitive information
- Strong communicator both written and verbal
