Position Summary:
This role will support our Accounting team. Maintains records of business transactions, balancing general ledger and preparing reports for a section or complete set of accounting records,
We are looking for fixed term contract for one year.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- This role will be responsible and involved in the preparation of monthly financial statements (including HGB), including the clarification and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Responsible for the audit preparation of the accounting in accordance with the local legislation.
- Creating evaluations and reports.
- Processing the cost statements, journal entries, etc. in Microsoft Dynamics AX.
- Responsible to work with foreign service providers as part of the ongoing accounting processes.
- Will be responsible for the processing of inquiries from the operative day to day business round offs.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
- 2-4 years of related work experience
- Experience in General Accounting, Tax Clerk, Accountant or comparable commercial training
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to motivate in a team environment
- Ability to partner with groups and cross functionally to meet or exceed department’s goals
- Identify root cause for issues and implement appropriate solutions
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
- Ability communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Knowledge of third party and Electronic Data Exchange (EDI) billing systems
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree – Accounting/Finance or related field of study
- 4-6 years relevant work experience
- Experience in related industry (aerospace)
- CPA/Public Accounting Experience/Public Company Experience
