A taste of what you’ll be doing
Working in Credit Operations, you’ll be at the heart of everything we do - working with customers and colleagues to ensure payments are received and applied efficiently and effectively. Taking full responsibility for all issues that you come across, you’ll be responsible for the day to day leadership and success of the Payments operation, the teams and the team leaders. .
You’ll be responsible for enabling and encouraging delivery of excellence in every aspect of the payments function, to ensure we give the best service to our customers and our internal colleagues. You will lead the team leaders and empower them to identify and resolve problems and to drive continuous improvement. You will also be responsible for managing and maintaining internal and external key stakeholder relationships related to banking and the processing of payments.

As a Payments Operational Manager, you will :
  • Have responsibility for the day to day leadership and effectiveness of the Payments Operation.
  • Track and maximise performance, tackling and overcoming issues or barriers to success.
  • Stay close to the performance and quality of each team within the Payments Operation.
  • Lead and develop others through leading leaders, supporting development and effective succession planning.
  • Provide an excellent service to both internal and external customers of the Payments Operation, through continuous improvement in all areas of the service.
  • Work with the technology team to scope and refine future system enhancements to deliver better functionality or improve operational performance
  • Have previous experience of a role responsible for the processing of payments and leading people.
  • Have a proven track record of achieving results through change delivery and continuous improvement.
