Our Patient Service Assistants play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout the Trust.
All vacancies will be evening shifts only usually commencing from 4pm onwards (there are no day vacancies available)
The shifts available will be for 17.5 or 20 hours per week
Salary - £10.37 per hour rising to £10. 90 per hour, plus enhancements/unsocial hours payments where applicable

All posts will be required to undertake a range of domestic duties, for example maintaining a high standard of cleanliness using modern cleaning methods and machinery. There is a requirement to attend cleaning requirements of bodily fluids and barrier cleaning and training new staff members. In addition, the Domestic Assistant/Ward Assistant roles will be required to assist with the distribution of meals to patients and collection of trays after meal service and other related duties. Some posts are based on wards and others may be in non clinical areas.
