Job title: Domiciliary Care Worker
Information about the Service:
Waking night shifts with full observations.
Hoisting for Moving and Handling and postural management equipment used daily.
Suffers with Dystonia ( a twisted movement disorder) – PRN medication management required
Risk of skin pressure damage- skin observation and postural management essential to maintain skin integrity
Personal care
Asthmatic- prescribed inhalers
PEG fed and all fluids via PEG, only offer oral feeding if assessed and safe to do so- Blended Diet
Seizure management
Medication administration
Full observations due to vomiting episodes, correct postural management and hydration essential to prevent choking.
