Here at Active Vetcare we are excited to be recruiting for a Patient Care Assistant to join our team.
This is a full time role working Monday - Friday 40 hours a week with 1:4 Saturday mornings. You will mainly be working at our Oakley site but some cover may also be required at Sonning Common. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to gain experience in the veterinary industry that could lead to even more exciting opportunities in the future.
The PCA role is one of the foundations of an outstanding veterinary practice, as a PCA you would be involved in supporting our team of qualified RVNs and Vets to provide outstanding care to our patients, working alongside a lovely team of people. This role will involve animal handling, assisting vets and nurses in restraining animals for treatment, cleaning, walking and feeding patients, general cleaning and maintenance duties, answering phone calls, reception cover, greeting clients and providing the highest standards of animal and customer care.
We are looking for someone who really cares about animals. Our ideal candidate will have had some experience with animals before, have excellent interpersonal skills and be a real team player.
The salary for this position will be in line with National Minimum Wage +3% cost of living increase.
