Pastoral and Welfare Officer
Summary
We currently have two Pastoral and Welfare Officer roles available - one to work across our two primary schools (East Ferry and Glenworth) and one for our secondary school, Crossharbour. We are interested in experienced candidates who are passionate about supporting in the areas of attendance and welfare to ensure that students reach their potential. Hours: 8.30am – 5.00pm (40 hours)
Weeks per year: Term time plus 4 weeks (43 weeks per year contract)
About Us
In this multi-cultural school community, pupils are well-behaved and motivated with good discipline and supportive families. The staff team is creative and enthusiastic and has been providing a high standard of innovative education over the course of the lockdown and since.
The school is part of a successful Multi-Academy Trust. Routines and collaborative working are embedded in our practice, but we constantly seek to improve our work and thus seek energetic innovators. The Trust welcomes staff and pupils from all faiths while operating within a Christian ethos. We are firmly committed to staff CPD at all levels.
Our schools are based in a quiet setting in the heart of the Isle of Dogs in Tower Hamlets, yet close to Mudchute, Island Gardens and Crossharbour DLR stations and central London. The school works long days, balanced by shorter terms.
