Job description
We need to recruit Passenger Assistants to be part of a friendly team who provide an excellent standard of service to support children with special needs.
Your duties will be to accompany, assist and care for children with special needs on their journeys from home to school and return on a range of designated vehicles.
You will need to work closely with individuals, their parents and careers, show patience and understanding and be able to communicate with people from all backgrounds. In return you will benefit from excellent terms and conditions of service.
This is a part time service and you will work a minimum of 10 hours per week for 38 weeks per year (term time only).
Salary is pro-rata to the full-time salary of £20,812 to £21,189
Actual pay for the contract hours and weeks is £4697.90 per annum paid at £391.49 per calendar month.
Extra hours are paid at £10.78 per hour.
