Acorn Education and Care are currently hiring Care Workers in Nottinghamshire Region!
Role: Support Worker
Welcome Bonus offering £500 joining bonus and £500 once probation is passed.
Salary: Up to £26,201.60 per annum (inclusive of 8 sleep ins payments per month)
Hours: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, varied shift patterns:
Days: Varied Shift Patterns between 10.00am - 10.00pm; Lates: 2.00pm - 10.00pm, Earlys: 8.00am - 10.00pm, Weekends/School Holidays: 10.00am - 3.00pm)
Location: Nottingham, East Midlands

- Sleep ins paid at £45.00 per night

The Opportunity
Our next Support Worker someone who has:
- Mandatory: More than one year's experience in Residential Childcare
- Preferred: Experience of working with children with disabilities
- A big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives.
- Patience, resilience, and calmness.
Some of your duties would be as follows
- Supporting young people to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips out
- Completing relevant paperwork
- Undertaking household tasks
- Engage our young people in tasks and activities
