A rare opportunity has arisen for a Parts & Clothing Specialist to join our already highly successful team at Lind Motorrad Norwich.

About the role

This role is at the core of our customer experience and successful operation of the workshop. Working in a dedicated and lively environment, your focus will be on the customer journey, sourcing and providing parts for customers and the workshop to carry out services to motorbikes. Your role will be a vital part of the LIND Motorrad Norwich’s success story and you will actively promote and endorse the high standards of BMW Motorrad and LIND at all times!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Reporting to the Aftersales Manager
  • Achieving sales targets by selling parts via the retail counter and workshop
  • Maintaining and building close relationships with new and existing customers
  • Liaising with all Departments
  • Stock control, including regular stock checks
  • Merchandising displays
  • Product purchasing
  • Processing orders from invoice and delivery
  • Online shop management
  • Maintain records and process accurate
  • Warranty Claims
  • Social media champion
  • Working alongside our Harley- Davidson Aftersales Team (shared site)

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within the motorcycle /automotive trade and or retail clothing trade
  • Passion for Motorcycles
  • Be a Team Player
  • Excellent Attention to Detail
  • Great Computer Skills
  • A Methodical Approach
  • Be Approachable and Honest
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of social media

Desirable:

  • Experience with using automotive systems such as Drive
  • A full A Category Motorcycle Licence is desirable
