We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic teacher to join our highly successful English department. This is an exciting time for Northgate High School and Dereham Sixth Form as our English department is growing. Our students’ experience is at the heart of what we do. Our goal is to ensure that we create lasting memories for our students as well as equipping them with the skills they need to unlock their potential. We are delighted to be able to expand our committed and passionate team.

The English department is a supportive, innovative and welcoming department. Their strengths are their ability to communicate their passion for the subject and build positive and productive relationships with pupils. If you are an enthusiastic classroom practitioner and passionate about teaching English, we look forward to hearing from you.

The successful candidate will be:

  • someone who is a highly motivated and inspiring in the classroom;
  • someone with vision, energy and a real passion for English Language and Literature;
  • able to teach across Years 7 – 13 and will be able to enthuse students of all ages and abilities.
  • experience of teaching A level literature and language is desirable.
