Position: Support Worker

Salary: £10.57 - £10.87 per hour

Service: Smythe House, Kettering

About Your Role

• Smythe House is located in a quiet residential street within Kettering, Northamptonshire supporting adults with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS).
• The team are supportive and positive and focus on person centred planning to support each individual’s needs. They are respectful to the needs of each individual they support and what they want to achieve.
• You’ll be responsible for supporting an inclusive lifestyle within the community as individuals attend local colleges or day trips out.
• You’ll develop greater independence and daily living skills by assisting with the upkeep of the service, preparing meals, shopping and domestic duties.
• You’ll provide help with personal care such as washing, bathing and dressing whilst working across various shift patterns including early, late and weekend or night shifts. Full time and part time positions are available.

• Once you’ve applied you’ll have a call with our dedicated in-house recruitment team to find out more about the role.
• You’ll then have an interview scheduled at the service and have your chance to go down and meet the team.
• If you are successful we’ll go through an Onboarding Process obtaining a Free DBS Check and References.
• You’ll then start with our 3-day online induction with our dedicted Learning & Development team prior to returning to the service to continue your growing career at Consensus.
