I am looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic individual to work in my Jessica Anderton Designs shop, which is located on 160 South Street, St Andrews.
Brand Background; Jessica Anderton Designs is a homeware & lifestyle brand, with an eclectic mix of products inspired by Jessica’s original artwork. Each item in her collection has been carefully hand-crafted in the United Kingdom, uniquely designed and made to last for years to come.
Job details & requirements;
- Part-time position with very flexible hours throughout the week to accommodate all schedules. Availability at weekends is essential and potential bank holidays. Working hours approximately between 11am-4pm.
- £10 per hour - paid by BACS every 2 weeks.
- A passion for interior design and unique, luxury homewares.
- Retail experience is preferred, however this is not a requirement.
- Starting from mid June.
- Proficient in English with great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, polite and helpful personality.
- Dependable, punctual, flexible.
- Training will be given.
- National Insurance number required.
What would the role involve?
- To independently manage the store during opening hours, including regular weekend work. Good time management and self-motivated as you would be working in the shop on your own.
- Greeting customers in a friendly and confident manner.
- Proactively offering assistance and product recommendations to customers.
- Upholding presentation standards for the store.
- Maintaining a tidy and organised stock room.
- Knowledge on the brand and product lines.
- Operate financial transactions with the use of an iZettle card machine (very simple to understand!)
- Gift wrap customer purchases.
- Helping out with jobs in the shop, such as tagging products, writing short blog posts for the website etc.
