We currently have a vacancy for a part time sales assistant to join our small and friendly team working from our shop in Woodbridge. We sell antique, vintage and second-hand pieces through our retail premises and online sales sites.
This is an interesting and varied role, assisting with the day to day running of the shop with a focus on the online sales side of the business.
Main duties include:
· Assisting customers both in store and enquiries by phone, email & social media.
· Keeping websites up to date, uploading fresh stock & removing sold items.
· Researching pieces & writing detailed product descriptions.
· Photographing & editing images.
· Updating social media.
· Other duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the business.
We are looking for candidates with excellent customer service skills & confidence in dealing with customers. No two days are the same, so flexibility and great organisational skills are needed. Knowledge or experience of antiques, in particular silver & jewellery, is desirable or an interest & willingness to learn. This role also requires great computer skills including knowledge of online sales platforms & basic photo editing.
This is a part time position working 2 days a week including regular Saturdays on a rota basis.
