Job description
We are looking for a motivated retail Sales Assistant to help customers identify and purchase products within the Gamola Golf Store. Sales assistant duties will take place over two eight hour shifts. However additional hours will be available to cover staff leave. Duties including selling, restocking and merchandising. The goal is to exceed our customer expectations through the delivery of fantastic customer service and increase retail sales revenues.

Responsibilities
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Maintain a fully stocked store
- Ascertain customers needs and wants
- Recommend items that match customer needs
- Welcome and greet customers
- Manage point-of-sale processes
- Actively involve in the receiving of new shipments
- Keep up to date with product information
- Accurately describe product features and benefits
- Follow all companies policies and procedures
- The flexibility to work within other areas of the business when the need arises.
Skills
- Proven working experience in retail sales
- Excellent timekeeping
- Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Proficiency in English
- Track record of delivering retail sales
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service focus
- Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
- Basic administration and cash handling skills
- An interest or knowledge of golf is essential and operational training will be provided for the correct candidate
