We have an exciting opportunity for a receptionist to join our expanding team. The role will entail working at a clinic reception desk and being the first point of contact for our clients.
This involves greeting clients, dealing with any queries that are presented, taking payments following treatments and booking appointments. It also entails answering calls and emails from clients, prospective clients, third parties and insurance companies regarding appointment bookings, treatment quotations and invoices, as well as general tasks such as dealing with post, therapist diary management, managing petty cash, ordering supplies and ensuring the clinic is kept clean and tidy will be involved. On occasion, you may also be asked to provide ad hoc administrative support to the office manager and Tx Group directors.
This vacancy is an ideal opportunity for student therapists who are looking to gain experience working alongside qualified therapists in their chosen profession and to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in the healthcare environment. Tx Group organises regular in-service training sessions which the successful applicant will have free access to, as well as hosting external training courses, which can be accessed by staff at a discounted rate.
This vacancy may therefore be of interest to someone looking for a position as a student therapist who is interested in working in a clinic environment, in administration, as an administrator or in customer service.
The hours available are minimum of 6 a week. Shifts will be predominantly evening and weekend based; however, the desired candidate would be available to cover daytime shifts on occasion.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate must have the following:
- Minimum 5 GCSEs grade 4-9 (including 6 or above in maths and English) or, three A-levels or equivalent level 2/3 qualification
- Experience using computers
- Experience using Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel)
- Experience of sending emails
- Experience dealing with customers
- Experience handling responsibility
- Available to work in the evening and the weekend
