Description: A family in Maplewood, Missouri is looking for a reliable long-term part-time nanny for their 16-month-old daughter. As Mom works 1.5 days per week, the family's need for a nanny grows to two days per week. One day is 14 hours long and the other is 6 hours long. However, certain weeks Dad is not on call, therefore the nanny will be free to depart early around 5 pm or so with a paid day till 8 p.m. Mom is open to what consistently long day works best for the nanny. This family's ideal nanny will be someone who will keep their toddler happy and safe. Someone who is engaging and contributes to her development. Someone who will look forward to this schedule for years to come. Hours & Compensation: (One) long day 6:15am-8pm and Fridays 8am-2pm. $400-$600wk Responsibilities: Get the child up and ready for the day, provide her meals and snacks (mom typically will prepare them the night before so minimal prep is actually needed from the nanny!), Light housekeeping tasks as needed with childcare ie, after meals, play area, etc. Involve the child to help with tasks around the house and encourage her to engage in self-directed learning/play! ,diapering, providing and engaging her in activities throughout the day, nap time, potentially bed time. Qualifications:Professional childcare experience, along with 2-4 childcare references by families or centers that are not in any relation to you such as family, friends, or co-workers.
