STUDIO UNA LTD. is looking for a marketing assistant to support the business on a part-time, freelance basis.

The media and advertising landscape has changed drastically over the last 4-5 years, and will only continue to evolve at a rapid pace. Our ambition is to remain at the forefront of this change through our work with innovative and visionary brands in the fashion, beauty and luxury industries to redefine the marketing rulebook, so to speak.
WHO YOU ARE
As the marketing assistant, you are someone who knows your way around the latest trends in the fashion and beauty industries and are always one step ahead of your friends when it comes to staying on the pulse of the next big thing. We are looking for someone who has a little bit of work experience under their belt (ideally agency side!), but more importantly, someone who is eager to experiment and learn along the way. We believe in testing new concepts and sharing ideas, even if we’re not sure what the outcome will be—therefore, you should have an appetite for taking risks, a fearlessness in the face of challenges, and a willingness to embrace failure as an opportunity to learn something new.
- 1-2 years’ experience in Marketing, ideally within the beauty industry
- A flair for design and knowledge of marketing tools (i.e. Canva, Later, Adobe CS, Google Analytics, Klaviyo)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you’ll be comfortable creating professional relationships both internally and externally
- Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset
- You like staying organised and multi-tasking, and have an excellent attention to detail
- You have an interest in the beauty industry and are in the know about the latest brands, trends, and innovations in the industry
- Experience working with digital marketing channels will be advantageous, and a willingness to learn new things is a must!
YOUR DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:
- Support with the day-to-day running of marketing activities and strategies for various clients, ranging from:
- Production of visuals/creatives for use on both paid and organic social media
- Creation of newsletter campaign content (visual layout and light copywriting)
- Development of brand content strategies, including SEO blog content, and creating briefs for external copywriters as and when required
- Manage brand activity calendars for clients, staying on top of upcoming projects and supporting with any associated tasks across the full marketing mix
- Conducting market research and developing bespoke reports with recommendations per client on a monthly basis
- Assist with preparation for events and exhibitions
- Potential for other ad hoc work to arise (influencer campaigns, affiliates, etc.) depending on the client and their needs
This role will start out as a part-time, freelance opportunity, with a significant potential to grow as the business evolves. We are flexible on the overall number of days and hours per week, but anticipate the workload to be around 3-4 days on average, with a monthly compensation of up to £2000, dependent on experience.
Currently, this will be a remote-based position with once weekly meet-ups in West London (Kensington High Street area), and we are ideally looking for a candidate based on the Greater London area who is able to commit to once weekly in-person working days.
