The Role
As a Crussh Driver, you’ll be delivering goods to our third-party customers and retail stores, adhering to all Food Safety and Health, Safety policies and practices at BRC level.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving to various locations across central London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol and West England
- Loading and unloading goods.
- Adhere to Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures and policies at BRC level, including completing daily paperwork.
- Ensure of maintenance and daily/weekly check of your Crussh vehicle.
- Ensure that the best possible delivery service is provided to get orders to our stores and third-party customers on time and in good condition.
- Build positive and productive working relationships with customers for business growth.
- Maintains high level of competence and operational excellence.
- Attend any necessary training and meetings.
- Make critical business decisions to meet customer expectations.
- Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions.
- Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed.
- Report delivery status to customers and develop required delivery documentations.
- Manage the low care area including but not limited to cardboard return, crate organisation etc.
- Any other reasonable requests made of you by a line or senior manager.
How you will be measured
- Regular catch up with Transport Manager to discuss progress last week, and actions for the week ahead.
- Feedback from senior management team.
