Job description
Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for the following staff to join our branch in Ballywalter:
Part-Time Counter Sales Assistant (16 hours per week)
Duties will include:
-Operating tills and handling sale transactions accurately.
-Handling telephone enquiries and giving advice while referring callers to the pharmacist
when necessary.
-Stock maintenance including ordering and rotation.
-Informing customers on all health and associated products including over the counter
medication, minor ailments and services offered by the Pharmacy.
-Promoting new and current product ranges through the use of appropriate selling
techniques and merchandising.
-Dealing with customer complaints correctly.
-Keeping the shop and staff areas clean and tidy.
-Other duties as directed by the Pharmacy Manager.

-Fully flexible to work any 2 days Monday to Saturday 9:00am-5:30pm (Saturday in
accordance with branch rota).
-Able to demonstrate excellent communication and selling skills.
-Interested in Retail, Pharmacy and Customer Service.
-Interested in career development and progression and willing to undertake relevant
qualifications.

Previous experience in a pharmacy or sales related environment is an advantage but not essential.
