We are looking for an Administrator who will endeavour to act as first point of contact for queries to the Ecological Citizens Network, including being responsible for administering the EC inbox. The postholder will provide comprehensive administrative support for EC staff for all processes relating to preparing, submitting and managing research, Knowledge Exchange and Executive Education bids, budgets and projects. In addition, they will provide project support to senior staff as required, including arranging meetings and acting as the point of contact between research centre academic, support staff, research students, industry partners, academic partners, funding bodies, philanthropic donors and other third parties.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent. In addition, it is essential that candidates have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Ability to use initiative and work independently and as part of a team.
- Competent at operating appropriate IT systems, ideally including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of assessments and examination processes and logistics.
- Knowledge of Research, MRes, PhD and MPhil and project delivery
- Ability to use initiative or creativity to resolve problems.
