Stone Soup Academy is looking to recruit an outstanding Teacher (Unqualified) to join our team!
We are looking for an ambitious, energetic and committed teacher who will expand the learning experiences of our pupils.
The successful candidate will be teaching predominantly in Key Stage 3, supporting our young people who have a range of associated needs.

Stone Soup Academy is seeking to appoint a motivated, skilled and resilient Unqualified Teacher with experience and/or a strong interest in supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health/communication interaction needs. The chosen candidate will demonstrate energy, enthusiasm and the ability to teach effectively across a range of subject areas.

Ideally the successful candidate will have experience of teaching and supporting young people within SEN, along with the following characteristics:
Person Specification
Resilience – We support some of the most vulnerable children in society who have varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties so there will be times where your resilience is challenged.
Communication – Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
Organisation – You will have experience of organising, planning and teaching well-structured lessons tailored to the needs of the pupils as well as monitoring each student’s learning needs, adapting teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of each pupil.
Caring – Our young people require the best care we can offer. If you are a naturally caring and compassionate person, this is the role for you.
Attentive – No two tasks will be the same so being attentive to understand the needs of the young people we support is vital
Ideally educated to degree level in any discipline.
