A great opportunity has arisen for a Park Manager at a popular holiday site in Leysdown, Isle of Sheppey.
You will be working on-site with Company directors and part-time staff, supporting owners and their families in ensuring the upkeep and smooth running of the Park
Responsibilities:
- On-site contact for residents of PAHV
- Handling general enquiries by phone, post, email
- Responding to urgent maintenance and access issues
- Supervising of part-time groundskeeping and maintenance staff
- Working with the Directors to identify maintenance tasks and arrange quotes
- Liaising with contractors on-site and reporting to Directors on progress
- Routine maintenance tasks including inspections, PAT testing, H&S checks
- Working with Directors to ensure timely and accurate billing for residents
- On call for emergencies (TOIL given)
Your Profile:
You will be able to work autonomously, with a small team, and have a confident and professional manner to dealing with tasks and handling enquiries from residents.
You will have a practical approach to problem solving, and be able to identify and recognise work to be done on buildings and grounds.
You will be comfortable using email and office applications to respond to residents, communicate with contractors and Directors, including Teams meetings.
Desirable skills/experience:
Experience with maintenance and groundskeeping e.g. Lantra trained / ride-on lawnmowers
Experience with Sage and similar accounting systems
(Training can be provided on both of these depending on your previous experience)
Experience with managing social media accounts on behalf of a company or organisation
NEBOSH / IOSH
Hours:
The role is for 37.5 hours a week, over 5 days out of 7. We have a requirement for those days to cover weekends during busy seasons when there are more residents on site, for which Time off in Lieu will be provided. You will also be required to react swiftly to Out of Hours emergencies on the site, for which Time off in Lieu / Overtime will be given (with authorisation from Directors).
An attractive salary plus the option to join the Company pension and starting annual leave of 20 days plus Public and Bank holidays
