We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual who can contribute to the work of Stoke-on Trent's Childrens Safeguarding and Support Service within the family court arena.
You will working directly with the Court Progression Officer to ensure that individual cases, and the wider processes that are in place, help us to comply with our statutory responsibilities to children within the court arena. You will also help us to continue to improve our practice in this vital area of child protection work.
The work entails liaison between the social work and legal departments as well as direct input into the planning and management of work in the 'pre proceedings' and public law phases of our work with families as well as in the maintenance of plans for individual children and their families.
You will be directly involved in the maintenance of the Council's legal workspace documentation and in liaison between the social work teams and the court progression officer and wider legal systems.
You will be part of a very supportive and creative workforce and receive full training in all aspects of the role.
Interviews will be in the week commencing 13th March 2023.
