THE ROLE
As a Junior Paralegal, you will provide essential support to our legal team, assisting with various tasks related to legal documentation, research, and administrative duties. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and hands-on experience in a dynamic legal environment
Assist lawyers with legal research and document preparation.
- Review and prepare simple legal documents to assist lawyers or other professionals
- Conduct simple legal research
- Perform a variety of legal and administrative duties as well as special projects
- Working with external counsel to maintain and review corporate records
THE QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or certificate in an accredited paralegal program and/or successful career history in the role of a paralegal;
- Minimum 2 years of related experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, and Excel) and Google Suite software;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in both a team setting and as an independent under minimal supervision.
- Superb interpersonal skills;
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task/manage priorities in a fast-paced environment;
- Exceptional attention to detail;
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
