Job description

We’re looking for a Cleaner to join our team on our Radclyffe Schools contract. Within this role, you can enjoy part-time working, a real living wage, progressions opportunities and even more.

Location: Oldham, Manchester

Contract: Permanent, part-time shift - Monday to Friday 14:45 - 18:45

Salary: £11.05 per hour + competitive benefits


Responsibilities

As a Cleaner, you’ll be supporting our Facilities Management team at a number of Schools across the Oldham area, which forms part of our Radclyffe Schools contract.

Your day to day will include:

  • Making sure cleanliness and tidiness is maintained within the school building environment at all times. Ranging from surfaces, floor areas, wastage disposal and bathrooms,

  • Working in line to COSHH regulations and maintaining high personal hygiene levels

  • Ensuring any pest issues are reported directly to a supervisor or other senior staff member immediately


Who are we looking for?

This role of Cleaner is great for you if:

  • You have previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school, office or commercial building

  • You have a solid understanding of the health and safety at work legislation,, including COSHH & use of cleaning machinery

  • You are able to prioritise the high-risk areas of cleaning and coordinate tasks accordingly.
