We require a committed and experienced Semi Senior Outstanding Assistant to work for our well-established client based in Oxford.

The role
Working in the Outsourcing team you will be responsible for the preparation of management accounts and VAT returns for a portfolio of clients. You will need to ensure an exemplary client service is delivered at all times.
As a Semi Senior Outsourcing Assistant, you will be responsible for approximately 20-30 micro/small clients on a mixture of weekly/monthly/quarterly basis, which will include sole traders, partnerships, charities and small limited companies.
You will also review input from junior members of the team, where this forms part of your own assignment, and will raise draft invoices for director/partner approval.
The person
You will ideally be either Level 4 AAT qualified and/or already studying towards your ACCA qualification (first tier). Previous experience in working in practice would be an advantage.
You will be able to use accounts production packages (such as Xero, Sage 50 Accounts, Quickbooks) and Excel.
You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and are able to demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy. You will be able to proactively manage client relationships, with the confidence to work on your own initiative.
Teamwork and the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines in an organised and thorough manner will be needed for this busy role.
