Overview
We are looking for an experienced technology product marketer who will be our product spokesperson; working with Marketing, Sales and Product teams to ensure we are delivering the right message, to the right audience at the right time.
You will help us define how we go to market, creating value propositions and associated sales plays, campaign strategies, sales tools, product launches, and sales enablement content – all in support of developing world-class product strategy and go-to-market plans. You will work cross-functionally to support marketing campaigns, awareness-building, new product releases, and support sales in the positioning and selling our products and services across multiple personas. This will require you to pull cross-functional groups together to develop a point of view and solidify a plan of action.
This is a perfect role for someone who is a strategic thinker AND can operate at a fast-pace. You are a facilitator who can navigate C suite leaders, develop deep commercial connection with our customers and present information in a compelling way. This role requires an understanding of the tech stack that is required to support construction work processes.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to develop effective go-to-market plans
- Craft the buyer personas and understand the unique value of InEight’s technology
- Create positioning that articulates the differentiated value proposition for each target segment, respective persona and InEight offering; acting as an SME across the organization to support market positioning
- Parner across marketing on the creation of messaging and content at the product and solution level; working collaboratively on campaigns and launches
- Lead the development, organizational readiness, and execution of commercial product launches and incremental functional releases in market
- Support and lead the development and representation of thought leading topics through presentations, webinars, public speaking, social media, etc. to advance commercial appeal and relevance of product offerings in market
- Partner with customer marketing team to develop a highly engaged customer community
- Drive strategy and content for sales tools and sales presentations. Work with product experts to train the sales team
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and go-to-market strategies in target markets and target audiences; distilling findings into customer requirements and emerging customer use cases
- Collaborate with partners (technology and channel partners) to build new market differentiators that scale and increase the efficacy of our marketing activities
Required qualifications:
- Experience in and understanding of construction technology customer segmentation, buyer personas, target industries, and market trends as evidenced by direct work experience in ConTech space
- 8+ years of Product Marketing and/or Product Management experience at a B2B software company
- 3+ years of experience analyzing product, customer buying behavior, and market trends and opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
- Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and simply to small and large groups on and off a stage.
- Proven ability to work effectively and influence others in a cross-functional, team environment.
- Demonstrated analytical and business problem solving skills.
- Results- and process-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for excellence.
- Comfortable interacting with senior management and peers and serving as the go to thought partner
- Experienced working with sales leadership and field sales to support, to enhance the overall sales process and increase the sales team proficiency levels.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced environment leading product marketing
- Process driven to address strategic challenges.
- Fast learner, able to understand new technologies
- Can synthesize strategic inputs from multiple diverse sources, including product and sales teams.
- Flexible and adaptable to shift strategies and tactics when required.
