A established and award winning legal firm is seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join their team.
Main Responsibilities
This role is a combination of administrative and fee-earning tasks. You will support all fee earners across the department and assist on a variety of matters from vulnerable persons, court of protection, deputyship orders, drafting of wills, probate, cross-border estate planning and cross-border probate and tax. Being able to speak a foreign language would be an advantage to assist with the cross-border issues that arise.
You will also be responsible for keeping up to date on a variety of administrative tasks, such as printing, scanning, ensuring all documents are saved on the online file, and assisting with trusts and estate registration.
This role is client focussed and the applicant should have excellent communication and client care skills.
Requirements
- Genuine interest in Private Client work
- Strong Academics. You would have completed or about to complete the LPC/SQE2. Ideally, the candidate will also have undertaken the Private Client elective.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Confident and personable nature with strong client relationship skills.
- Proficiency in a second language (preferably French or Italian) is desirable.
- Positive can-do and pragmatic approach.
- Able to prioritise a busy workload and delegate where possible.
- Easy to work with and fits into the team.
