“Covering the North West and Yorkshire regions, you will have joint responsibility with one of your sales colleagues for managing a highly successful region, consisting of high value, strategically significant customer accounts. In the role you will ensure the maximisation of the surgical instrument, container and power systems business across the region, ensuring services are leveraged appropriately as a unique differentiator in the Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) and operating theatre environment. A strong commercial background with a customer service focus will help to ensure success in this role.”

Here's what you can expect to be doing…
This role is a 12 month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave. You will be working as part of our high performing Sterile Goods Management (SGM) team, which specialises in the provision of cutting edge medical and clinical supplies. The product portfolio includes Surgical Instruments, Sterile Container Systems and Surgical Power Tools.
You will have a real opportunity to make an impact, by taking a proactive approach to ensure effective strategies and tactics are implemented to achieve business growth and sales within the portfolio.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Achieving sales targets set for your territory by developing winning and repeatable sales strategies
- Developing strong relationships with key customers
- Attending exhibitions, meetings, demonstrations and workshops both locally and nationally
- Supporting the sales from the National Partnership Team as appropriate
- Developing and working to a business development plan
- Using Salesforce.com to keep accurate business and call records
- Keeping abreast of developments and trends within the territory in order to supply accurate information for consideration in forecasting and budget proposals
What you’ll need to succeed:
Proven experience of working within a medical sales position- Experience of working within a theatre environment and surgical sales
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers
- Able to work to own initiative and make things happen
- Ability to both recognise and seek new business opportunities
- Passionate, motivated and focused to achieve sales targets
- Full UK Driving Lisense
