Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and conscientious individual to join our Private Client Team in Carlisle. The role will involve assisting the Private Client Team to ensure the provision of reliable, efficient and timely service and to ensure Butterworths exceed client expectations and provides a first-class customer experience.
Personal Attributes
- Must be well organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail and prioritisation skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- A team player, able to work on their own initiative but also as part of a team
- Able to work to a deadline
- Excellent IT skills, with particular experience with dictation
Specific Role Requirements
- Knowledge amd familiarity regarding Wills, Lasting Power of Attorneys and general private client work.
- To accurately produce and send out paperwork to clients via post and email
- Diary Management including daily chasing of clients for outstanding paperwork
- Assisting clients face-to-face or by telephone with enquiries
- Utilising a practice management system to create new clients and set up new files
- Answering of and dealing with incoming calls, directing to the appropriate fee earner or taking messages where necessary
- To undertake specific training when required to do so and overall to have a responsibility towards self-development
- Any other duties which from time to time are required by the firm
